This year marks the tenth edition of Hong Kong FinTech Week. Over the past four years, I quietly set "getting on the conference stage" as a small goal of mine. This year, I finally achieved it.

I will participate in the closing session on the main stage at Hong Kong FinTech Week x StartmeupHK Festival 2025 on November 4.
So why is it called a "small secret goal"?
Because I’ve always thought that Hong Kong FinTech Week is the most influential and prestigious conference in the city. More importantly, it’s a truly fair platform that allows me to engage in equal dialogue with my peers from the traditional finance world and tell them, "Hey, I can also get on that conference stage."
It’s an acknowledgment.
Proving the value of the crypto industry, worthy of standing alongside traditional finance; demonstrating that our experience and knowledge carry the same weight; proving that we are serious about our work.
After delivering hundreds of speeches, I finally get to check off a meeting I’ve always attended.
In support of the conference, Gate will sponsor the Finoverse closing party held on November 5 at Boomerang. This is also the third consecutive year Gate has hosted exclusive events for institutions and VIP clients during FinTech Week.
I am truly very excited ( — this is the kind of "excitement" that’s real, not like ChatGPT ), looking forward to reconnecting with old friends, meeting new ones, and together reflecting on the stories of 2025.
