CFTC allows crypto spot trading on regulated exchanges in the US
For the first time in history, crypto spot products are being traded on CFTC-registered exchanges—platforms considered as benchmarks for transparency and investor protection.
Bitnomial is the first to implement this, opening up the possibility for big names like CME, Cboe, and other reputable derivatives exchanges to participate in the near future.
This decision also marks an important step forward in the legalization process of crypto in the US. Previously, users mainly traded on regular crypto exchanges, where oversight standards were inconsistent and risks were significantly higher.
