At the end of the year, I took my family to Tokyo for a trip, and brought my two kids to Disneyland to create some childhood memories.
But the weather was really cold. We toughed it out from 10 a.m. until the parade started at 7 p.m…
I really admire those friends who staked out spots from the morning, sitting on the cold ground for hours just to get a good view of the half-hour parade.
But once the parade started and I saw the kids’ happy smiles, it was all worth it.
Personally, I really liked the fairy-themed parade float—the lighting effects were very impressive.
The only downside was the massive crowd after the parade ended. It was almost impossible to move with thousands of people packed together, just a sea of heads…
This trip to Tokyo also marks the end of the year for me, saying goodbye to past setbacks and welcoming a brand new start next year.
Don’t ask me why there are no photos—during the parade, I had to take turns carrying both little ones so they could see the show…
