A scammer convinced him to double his assets

An investor in #البيتكوين lost all his investments after falling victim to a sophisticated scam based on artificial intelligence, following repeated warnings from his consulting firm, according to a story published by a cryptocurrency wealth advisor.

Terence Michael, an advisor and author working with The Bitcoin Ad, visor, said in a post on the "X" platform that an anonymous client transferred his #Bitcoin coins to a scammer impersonating a trader, who convinced him he could double his investments.

Michael explained that the scammer also claimed to be a woman with a romantic relationship with the investor, in a common scam style that relies on AI and emotional manipulation, rather than direct hacking.

Despite "repeated phone calls" and "a series of warning text messages," Michael was unable to persuade his client not to send #BTC coins to the scammer.

He added: "My client was a victim of a scam, and last night, while I was having dinner outside, I received a heartbreaking message from him telling me he lost everything."

Unlike traditional scams, this type of deception relies on psychological and emotional manipulation to push victims to voluntarily send their money, often through false promises of romantic relationships or imaginary profits and doubled investments.

Michael pointed out that the scammer surprised the investor after receiving the money by revealing that he was not a woman, and that the images used in the fake relationship were fake and generated by AI tools. He explained that the deception began with a claim to double assets, then evolved into a fake romantic relationship that ended with the investor losing all his money.
