The whole idea that prediction markets aren't gambling cracks me up, honestly. They absolutely are gambling—every bit of it. People just don't want to admit it.

Think about it this way: prediction markets operate on the exact same premise as horse racing. The difference? You're not playing against a house. Instead, the odds get set by whatever the crowd of participants is willing to bet. The mechanics shift around based on where the money flows, but at its core, you're still risking capital on an uncertain outcome. They've just dressed up the concept in fancier language to make it sound more legitimate, but the fundamental nature doesn't change.

Haha, isn't it just gambling? Why does it have to be packaged as a prediction market... Basically, it's just a rebranded casino game.

Honestly, it's just gambling with a different name, hypocritical.

That's right, it's just gambling, just a different name.

Nah, gambling is gambling. Just put a "prediction market" shell on it and it's not gambling anymore? That's hilarious.
