What started as a coding experiment between two college sophomores has become a serious player in the event-scaling space. Avante Price and Eli Taylor-Lemire built Posh from their dorm room with one mission: create a platform that lets anyone—from indie creators to established brands—effortlessly launch and manage events at scale.

The momentum came fast. They officially launched in October 2020, immediately gaining traction with their stripped-down, accessible approach. By May 2021, the co-founders felt confident enough to make the leap: they dropped out of college and closed a $1.5M funding round. That's when things really accelerated. With backing secured and a clear vision, the duo shifted focus entirely to building out the infrastructure that would let event organizers operate like seasoned pros, even without technical expertise.
