Grid trading turns time into profit in a choppy market
In the recent relatively volatile market, I opened a neutral grid on Gate. The strategy's goal is not to bet on the direction, but to use oscillations to obtain deterministic returns. The interval is set quite conservatively, deliberately avoiding positions that might experience a one-sided breakout. As expected, the market repeatedly pulls back and forth, and the grid continues to execute trades. Although individual profits are not high, the overall curve is very smooth. Reflecting on this grid operation, my biggest takeaway is: the true value of grid trading is not the return rate, but emotional management. You don't need to watch the market constantly or guess tops and bottoms; the strategy executes automatically. My experience is that grid trading is suitable for "boring" market conditions, rather than as a tool for chasing excitement.
Gate performs well in terms of parameter flexibility and execution stability, making it suitable to entrust the strategy to the system and focus your energy on judging the overall trend.
