Copy trading, following people, learning trading mindset
Recently experienced Gate's copy trading, and I deliberately did not choose the trader with the highest returns, but instead selected an account with stable drawdown control and restrained style. During the copy process, I focused on observing their entry and exit rhythm and position management, rather than short-term profit and loss. As a result, the returns during this period were not spectacular, but the curve was very smooth. Looking back, the greatest value of this copy trading was not making money, but comparing myself. In contrast, I found that I am more prone to rushing to add positions in trading, and more easily lose patience in oscillations.
A one-sentence summary of experience: If copy trading is just for laziness, it’s not very meaningful; but if it’s to calibrate your trading habits, it is a very clear mirror.
Gate’s copy trading system significantly reduces learning costs, but the premise is that you are willing to review your trades, not just look at the returns.
