Most people think of oracles as a simple concept: "This is the price" or "This is weather data," and that's it. But if you look closely, data is far more than just a piece of information — it is the lifeline that enables smart contracts to truly function and ensures their secure operation.

The APRO project doesn't aim to create anything fancy. Its goal is straightforward: to make this lifeline reliable and stable. It may seem simple, but this changes the entire game.

**Data needs to hold the same status as consensus mechanisms**

The beauty of blockchain lies in its precise execution: the code you write runs exactly as written. This is powerful — until the input data is incorrect. That’s where the problem lies. Even if your smart contract logic is flawless, once on-chain data is corrupted or delayed, the entire system collapses. Flash loan attacks in DeFi, price manipulation events — fundamentally, these are vulnerabilities exploited through data.

Oracles are not just tools for transmitting data; they determine the quality of on-chain decision-making. A well-designed oracle means your contracts can trust every data point it receives. Poor design, on the other hand, provides attackers with opportunities to exploit.

To be honest, oracles are the most overlooked infrastructure in DeFi. Everyone is focused on TVL and yields, and no one remembers that data itself is the root. The APRO approach is correct.

Data contamination once, the entire DeFi ecosystem will have to be sacrificed; this is the true importance of oracles.

In simple terms, it's a problem with the data source. No matter how advanced the contract logic is, it's useless. This has indeed been seriously underestimated. --- For oracles to truly be reliable, the entire on-chain ecosystem can only be stable... But right now, it's still full of bad actors, no wonder flash loan incidents happen frequently. --- Wait, can APRO really solve the data trust issue, or is it just another hype project? We need to see its actual performance before making a judgment. --- Ultimately, it's a simple logic: bad data leads to bad decisions. Any talk of decentralization is just empty words. --- The oracle part is indeed a weak point, much less attention than consensus mechanisms, but the risks are not small. --- There's some truth to that, but don't hype it too much... There aren't many oracles on the market that can truly provide stable data feeding.
