Looking at BTC's recent plunge, it directly dropped to 80,000. Many people are asking, will it happen again? To be honest, that's not the most heartbreaking question. The most awkward part is actually the performance of altcoins—they basically follow the trend of falling without rising, and 99% of them can't escape.
What does this reflect? There simply isn't that much real money flowing in the market. Retail investors have run out of pockets, and what about institutional big funds? They've long since moved to hedge or speculate in gold and silver. In the crypto world, it's basically a tool for speculation; when something really goes wrong, big funds run faster than anyone else—this is an undisputed fact.
Since the start of the pandemic until now, global economic issues have been popping up frequently, and countries are all shouting about a tough environment. No matter how good the data looks, it has to return to reality—the economic downturn backdrop combined with the unlimited overdraft of alpha systems on trading platforms has dealt a significant blow to the secondary market.
So the question is: will altcoins迎来寒冬 (face a cold winter)? Or is this just a market adjustment, and there will still be opportunities for explosive growth later? What do you all think?

Altcoins this wave really hits hard, following the old pattern of not rising with the market but falling with it.
Institutions are fleeing quickly, and us retail investors can only watch helplessly.
With the current economic environment, there's nothing anyone can do. The crypto world is inherently speculative; just be clear about that.

just like mile 20 in an ultra, this pullback hits different when your bags are heavy. but ngl, institutional flows drying up is the real tell—accumulation phase hasn't truly begun if they're still hedging into gold. macro backdrop's rough, but adoption curves don't care about short-term noise. keep stacking.

Altcoins follow the decline but not the rise, this wave is really incredible. The ones I hold have long since fallen to grandma's house.
Institutions run away very quickly, and we retail investors end up being the last bagholders. This is the reality.

Altcoins follow the decline but not the rise, this trick is really top-notch for harvesting retail investors
Institutions have already left while we're still dreaming, wake up everyone
With the economic environment so bad, the crypto world is just a vampire, draining retail investors and institutions alike
Winter? I think it's been here for a while, some just haven't realized it yet
Instead of asking if it will explode, better ask how many coins are still left in your hands
This time is really different, you can feel the funds are withdrawing
Where's the promised bull market? Why is it still like this?

The fact that it doesn't follow the rise but only the fall is really incredible. My altcoins have long become worthless paper.
Institutions run faster than rabbits, leaving retail investors like us to pick up the bag.
Economic downturn + platform overextension, the secondary market is indeed risky. Who can say if the winter is just a correction or something else?
The crypto world is just a big casino; the ones losing money are always the small retail investors.
Can 80,000 hold? Honestly, I don't really believe it.
After this round, I finally understand what true gold and silver scarcity means. Virtual prosperity is easily shattered with a poke.
I don't even want to touch altcoins now; it's too heartbreaking.
