BTC 4-Hour K-line Technical Analysis: Trading Opportunities Under Price-Volume Divergence

robot
Abstract generation in progress

【Crypto World】BTC has shown some weakness in the past 4 hours. Since the price retreated from the level at 2025-12-17 12:00 to now, it has fallen below the low of 16:00. Although the last candlestick closed as a bullish candle (closing higher than opening), the momentum is insufficient. Trading volume has also decreased, significantly shrinking compared to a few hours ago. This simultaneous decline in volume and price indicates that market activity is waning, and participation is clearly lacking.

From a technical perspective, the MACD histogram remains positive, but its width is gradually narrowing, reflecting weakening bullish momentum. The KDJ indicator currently reads 66, in a neutral to slightly weak state, with no clear buy or sell signals such as golden or death crosses. Combined with the divergence between volume and price, the market currently lacks a clear trend direction.

Based on technical analysis for trading reference:

Bullish Setup: Consider buying opportunities around 85875.92 or 85084.0, with a stop-loss set at 85446.54.

Bearish Target: If opting for short positions, reference sell prices at 90330.36 or 89758.0, with a stop-loss at 90782.01.

Key Levels: Current support is at 85084.0, resistance at 89758.0, and the 4-hour amplitude range is approximately from 85875.92 to 90330.36. Overall, the market is in a consolidation phase, and traders can adjust their strategies flexibly based on these key levels.

The combination of shrinking volume and falling prices feels like a shakeout, with the bottom dragging on. A weak rebound, we still need to wait and see if it can stabilize. The MACD narrowing indicates a lack of strength; I really don't dare to buy the dip if it breaks down. It's another market without clear signals, which I find the most frustrating. There might be a chance around 85k, but risk awareness still needs to be at its maximum. I’ve never believed in rebounds without volume; I’ll wait until there’s a surge in trading volume.

It's the same old story of price and volume divergence. This wave really doesn't have much momentum... Wait until it drops to around 85K before getting in.

Prices are falling as volume shrinks, and the bulls are losing momentum. I don't dare to buy the dip in this wave.

The divergence between price and volume is happening again. This time, we should wait for a clear signal before taking action.

The concept of price-volume divergence is getting a bit tiring to hear; it feels like analysts are just making up stories.

The divergence between price and volume is back. This market trend is really a bit disappointing.

I'm tired of the saying about price-volume divergence; it's still the old advice—don't act recklessly without a trend.

The idea of divergence between price and volume is back again, how funny. Is a narrowing MACD a sign of weakening momentum? Let me tell you, this logic was proven to be a fallacy back in 2009. --- Does anyone actually look at on-chain data? The fluctuations at the four-hour level are simply not sufficient conditions for a trend reversal. --- It should be pointed out that you guys always treat the KDJ indicator as gospel, but in reality, it's just a statistical game with no solid consensus foundation. --- What right do you have to question the @85084@ level? Do you have any evidence? Or is it just another wave of parameter fitting and self-indulgence. --- Listen to me, everyone. During downturns, it's actually the time to test your beliefs. True Bitcoin believers are never troubled by the four-hour volume and price relationship. --- Haha, you're teaching again. Actually, the entire analysis framework is built on the illusion of lagging technical indicators. --- The clearest signal is when the market lacks direction. How can you not understand that? --- Returning to the fundamentals of the white paper: do these fluctuations have any impact on the chain itself? No. So why over-interpret them?

The divergence between price and volume has been played out long ago. Are you still talking about it now? KDJ 66 has no real reference value at all. Let's wait and see if it breaks the key support.
