Recently, a developer exposed an incident of open-source code being used without authorization. According to reports, the development team of the AI Trading OS project NoFx discovered that ChainOpera_AI seemingly deployed a version of their code, released about a month ago, directly on their testnet. Even more astonishing is that the other party only changed the Logo in the interface, while the core code remained largely unchanged, and traces of NoFx could even be seen in the code comments and file identifiers. This approach clearly crosses the line of open-source licensing agreements. The NoFx team has maintained this open-source product for many years, investing considerable effort and dedication, and being "borrowed" in this way is understandably upsetting. Currently, the dispute between the two sides is still escalating and has attracted the attention of many developers and the community.

Just changing the Logo and daring to go live? The code comments haven't even been cleaned up properly, how careless can you be? --- The operation of ChainOpera_AI is indeed outrageous, copying and pasting with ctrl+c ctrl+v without even changing the comments. The background of this project team is suspicious. --- After research and analysis, incidents of "reference" like this are becoming more frequent in trading projects. Pay attention to the source of funding for ChainOpera_AI. --- NoFx has been exploited like this for a month and still hasn't responded? That's pretty laid-back. --- Another tactic of capital manipulation—just rebrand to get funding? The open-source community needs to be more vigilant. --- Data shows that projects with such code reuse have a significantly higher risk index later on. It is recommended to pay attention to the risks. --- Historical data indicates that project teams willing to do this have about a 70-80% chance of having issues with tokenomics design.

This is outrageous. Copying the code directly without even deleting the comments, and daring to release just by changing the logo? Where is the integrity of Web3?

Just changing the logo and going live, what kind of operation is this haha --- Again with the same old, is this what Web3 is all about? --- The comments haven't been cleaned up at all, are they provoking? --- Having my years of hard work exploited like this, it’s so frustrating --- Seeing code comments and other people's tags, it's outrageous --- Just can't understand why some people always do this kind of thing --- If they can't come up with a result, the open-source community really has no meaning --- Changing the logo and acting as if it's their own, so bold --- ChainOpera this time is just inviting trouble, the tech circle is this small --- Open-source licenses are practically useless? Are these things not binding?

This is outrageous, not even the comments have been changed... Are they really treating people like fools?

This is blatant code plagiarism, daring to go live just by changing a logo? Laughable. --- Same old trick, not even cleaning up the comments, and still have the nerve to call it their product. --- The open-source community is about to be exploited again. It feels like this happens more and more frequently. --- NoFx's legal team needs to step in; otherwise, who will dare to contribute open-source code in the future? --- Just repackage someone else's code and claim it as your own. Is this how the Web3 community operates? --- It's hilarious—didn't even delete the comments. How little do they think of others? --- I just want to know how ChainOpera_AI still dares to keep their name attached. --- Open-source licenses are essentially useless. This dispute has become the key issue. --- Trust in the tech community is being depleted time and time again. It's a pity for NoFx's years of effort.

Oh no, this kind of thing is really too common on the blockchain. Just changing a logo and daring to use it? Ridiculous. --- NoFx must be feeling so frustrated. They didn't even clean up the code comments before deploying. --- It's the same old trick, fork first then change the skin. Open source communities really need to protect their rights. --- Just want to ask, where is ChainOpera_AI's face? This is way too blatant. --- Years of hard work being "freeloaded" like this, anyone would be furious. --- The key code comments are still there. Did they really not want to hide it, or are they just that confident? --- Where is the promised open source spirit? This is outright theft. --- Damn, changing the logo and claiming it as your own? That logic is incredible. --- Need to handle this, or the entire open source ecosystem will be ruined.
