Most newcomers' fantasy is like this: invest 10,000 yuan, don't worry about anything, sit back and wait for ten years to multiply tenfold, and easily become a millionaire.

But real life in the crypto world is completely different.

You invest 10,000 yuan full of hope, and then the market suddenly plunges—your account shrinks to 5,000. That night, you toss and turn in bed, unable to sleep, with only falling candlesticks flashing through your mind.

The next few months become some kind of torment. The coin price oscillates between 1,000 and 6,000 repeatedly. Each time, you think this time it will really crash, but then you also think it will rebound. Woken up at 2 a.m. by the urge to urinate, your first reaction isn't to keep sleeping but to take out your phone and check the market. After a year, your mindset is worn out.

You set a goal for yourself: when it reaches 9,000, you'll cash out and leave.

Finally, the bull market arrives, and the coin rises to 8,500. Looking at the account balance, you start to hesitate again—thinking about the sharp pullbacks before, your intuition tells you it will definitely fall back to 6,000, so better to lock in profits now. So you sell. But this time, the market surges upward without hesitation, surpassing 9,000. You chase the high, add more positions, using 8,500 yuan to buy in. Although it's still the same money, the number of coins you can buy has decreased.

From 9,000, it drops again to 7,000, and you panic completely. Watching it finally surge to 12,000 before stopping, you think you've finally made a profit. But after doing the math, you realize it's only about 20% profit for the year—about the same as bank savings. After a moment of self-satisfaction, you label yourself as a "conservative investor."

This is the true trajectory of a newbie: all-in → full position → being trapped → cutting losses → regret → chasing the high → cutting losses again, cycling endlessly in torment.

Haha, isn't this just a reflection of myself a year ago? Now it really is inhumane. --- The part about checking the market at 2 a.m. really hit me. It's still the same now; I've already given up on sleep. --- 20% profit and I was still proud of myself. I only realized I was broke even after losing everything. --- All-in → Cutting losses → Chasing the rise → Cutting losses again, do I have to go through this cycle for a lifetime? --- It's really incredible how I keep tossing and turning, not making money but losing my mindset instead. --- Selling at 8500 and I still regret it. I kept chasing until 12000 before I finally got in. --- So beginners should just be honest and stick to regular investments. Don't think about getting rich overnight. --- The torment in the crypto world is really, either you're cutting losses or regretting cutting losses.

Damn, isn't this just a reflection of last year? Staying up until 2 a.m. to mine has become the norm.

Haha, isn't this my blood, sweat, and tears from last year? Now I'm much better and completely relaxed.
