The S&P 500 just sealed a bearish close—gap got filled and selling pressure continued. That's typically a headwind for crypto assets in the near-term at least. Honestly, when BTC spiked briefly toward $90k, I caught myself thinking maybe we'd finally decoupled from equity moves. But the daily action says otherwise. The close looks pretty bearish, indecisive at best. Hard to build conviction on a rally when equities are rolling over like this.

yeah the decoupling narrative keeps getting debunked lol. every time btc pumps people act like we finally broke free but then equities sneeze and it's game over. the correlation structure here is basically a merkle proof of our dependency

Here we go again, still plunging along with the stock market. Forget about decoupling.

Here it comes again; this dream of decoupling always shatters the fastest.

It dropped again, disconnecting is really difficult.

It's the same story again. When the stock market drops, Bitcoin trembles along. Decoupling is really a joke.

Coming back with this set again? I also thought the 90k wave had decoupled, but what happened? The stock market sneezes, and crypto catches a cold. On-chain data should have told us about this long ago, but I refused to believe it.
