Abstract generation in progress

【Crypto World】Recently, a notable funding case has attracted attention—a startup focused on developing AI software secured $70 million in funding. Their focus is quite interesting, mainly using AI to accelerate and automate scientific research processes.

This type of funding event actually reflects a phenomenon: more and more capital is betting on how AI will transform traditional industries. Introducing AI automation into scientific research is essentially a typical application of improving efficiency and reducing costs. Compared to Web3 innovative projects, the logic of solving practical problems with new technologies and gaining market recognition is similar. The enthusiasm for technological innovation funding has been ongoing, from traditional AI to blockchain applications, and behind the flow of funds is the market’s expectation for technological implementation.

Using this money for AI research automation is much more reliable than burning it on some scamcoins. The financing logic is the same as on-chain projects, both tell stories about technology landing, the difference is that this one really has a product. 70 million dollars, enough for several DAOs to burn for years. Improving efficiency in research is indeed a necessity, unlike some Web3 projects which are purely conceptual hype. It seems that capital is still flowing to places with practical applications, and we in blockchain should also learn this pragmatic attitude.

AI has been involved in research, is the next step to get involved in on-chain?

70 million dollars invested in AI research, I get the logic, it's just about using machines to save money. But if it can really be implemented, that would be good; most financing ends up being just PPTs changing the world. Research + AI in this area is indeed more reliable than some web3 projects, at least the outputs can be seen. Capital is betting on technology, but how likely is it to bet right... This is what we call genuine innovation, unlike some crypto world financing which is all stories. I feel like this wave of AI is definitely hotter than last year's blockchain games; at least there are people really using it. Only projects that can solve real problems can survive, in this regard, AI indeed has advantages. To put it simply, it's an efficiency tool; automating research can really save money.

Damn, $70 million invested in AI research... Now even academics are going to lose their jobs? Really, AI transforming research is fine, but the risks are pretty high too... But on the other hand, this logic is exactly the same as the tricks we've seen in the crypto world before—just packaging concepts to raise funds, haha. AI research automation? Sounds much more reliable than some blockchain game projects... Wait, is this really going to produce results or is it another round of rug pulls? AI is definitely hot right now, but if the $70 million goes down the drain, it would be awkward.

70 million in funding is interesting, but to be honest, it's just about improving efficiency and reducing costs. Web3 follows the same logic. AI automation in scientific research? Sure, but real implementation still depends on execution. Fundraising is easy, but product development is hard. Capital is willing to invest in anything right now—AI, blockchain, quantum computing... as long as it's new technology. The question is, how many will survive? Is scientific research automation a pseudo-need or a genuine demand? I’m not very optimistic about this wave. By the way, if AI can automatically write papers, will the academic world need to reshuffle...

70 million invested in AI research automation? Capital is really starting to shift from fantasy back to reality. This logic is similar to what we do with on-chain projects; only solving real pain points can keep you alive. Reminds me of those Web3 projects that hyped up last year, but it was all because they didn't really solve any problems... At least this one is clear.

70 million invested in AI research, can this wave be implemented? But compared to those PPT coins, at least there are some real applications… AI transforming traditional industries is indeed a trend, but I’m worried it might just turn into another VC story. Automating scientific research sounds good, but I wonder if it will just be another impressive-looking thing with little practical use… Is capital pouring into AI because they are truly optimistic or because there are no better targets? By the way, this logic is similar to Web3 fundraising—it's all about storytelling to raise money, only those that can be realized are the winners. Actual implementation cases are really scarce; most are just air… Research AI is an interesting direction, much more reliable than some blockchain projects, at least there is a real demand.

AIDS research has also been automated, but to be honest, this is exactly what AI should be doing.

Research automation indeed has imagination; it's much more reliable than some hype projects. Spending 70 million with actual output—that's the direction capital should pursue. Applying AI transformation to scientific research, the logic extends to Web3, but the problem is most projects are still just talking... I do envy these entrepreneurial teams that can raise money and do real work. Technological innovation is never outdated; it depends on who can truly implement it. Honestly, this kind of news motivates me to continue digging into real Web3 projects. With such a large financing amount, if there weren't real value, capital wouldn't be so eager.
