The Aster contract competition has reached its tenth day, and a participant has demonstrated what it means to "turn the tables in despair" through actual actions.

The account rebounded from the most critical 2400u to 7100u, climbing from the bottom to 61st place in the top 100 competition, backed by a series of tense trading records. On December 12th, during a surge, he closed a 42x long position. Although missing out on some subsequent gains is a bit regrettable, his stop-loss awareness was still clear, limiting the loss to 1000u.

The real turning point came in the subsequent operations. After opening a 4x long position on SUI with 9000u, the market kept declining, and the account shrank instantly to 2400u. In this cornered situation, he made a bold decision—using 50x leverage to buy 44 ETH at the 2810 level on Ethereum. As a result, within just half a day, Ethereum surged to 2910, and he realized a profit of over 4300u at this point, equivalent to selling 70 basis points too early. Later, he shorted 44 ETH at 2870, closed at 2857, and earned another 600u.

"The recent market is just a trap," he summarized. Altcoins almost all fell to historic lows, and there was no apparent profit opportunity in the market. In such an environment, the smartest strategy might be to stay out of the market and observe, rather than trying to bottom fish. Sometimes, not trading itself is the best trading decision.

This guy really goes hard with 50x on ETH. From 2400u to 7100u, it's truly a desperate counterattack, but I still feel there's a bit of gambling involved, too much luck involved.

This guy is really reckless, flipping from 2400u to 7100u with just a 50x leverage gamble mentality? I don't have the guts for that haha

Playing ETH with 50x leverage is truly insane; this guy is really gambling with his life. Going from 2400 to 7100 feels like a dream, but on the other hand, such market conditions can really drive people crazy. Instead of testing the waters, it's better to just leave it be.

50x all-in on Ethereum, this guy is really something. But honestly, this is textbook gambler psychology—going all in when at the bottom, making 4300 USD with good luck, getting liquidated immediately if unlucky. It looks exciting, but I really don't dare to try.

ngl the 50x eth move screams desperation pattern recognition... when wallet clustering shows that kind of conviction at local support, sometimes the market just *knows* what happens next. statistical significance through volatility compression, nothing mystical here
