We looked into zkPass's $ZKP Kaito Reward Program. This program is designed with a quite transparent structure.
First, regarding the snapshot criteria, it targets accounts that have ranked in the top 500 on the Creator Leaderboard and Community Leaderboard over the past 6 to 12 months, meeting the minimum eligibility requirements. In practice, about 300 accounts are expected to receive rewards.
Reward distribution is not straightforward. It is based on an algorithm that combines Mindshare and contribution metrics to evaluate each account's contribution and allocate rewards accordingly. This ensures that actual activity levels and influence are reflected.
Finally, the actual reward collection is conducted through the Kaito Earn portal, where users can check their reward status and apply for their rewards.

It's another airdrop design with high transparency, but to be honest, how many accounts can actually benefit from the 300 accounts? We've seen this algorithm weighting trick before.

300 accounts sharing the cake; I give full marks for the transparency of this data. The key is how the Mindshare weight is set; we need to dig into on-chain data to see clearly.

300 accounts? I feel like it's the same old trick again, with one algorithm after another. In the end, the ones who really benefit are still those big accounts.
