The harsh reality nobody talks about in crypto trading:
First, let's be honest—most profits you make in an early bull run just vanish. You think you're a genius during the hype, but by the time the next cycle rolls around, that wealth evaporates. It's the cycle that gets you, not bad luck.
Second problem? Altcoin timing. You'll see a coin getting hyped across socials and think this is the moment. Wrong. By the time you're hearing about it, the ones who matter already filled their bags. You're always late to the party.
Here's the kicker though—leverage trading. About 99% of traders shouldn't even touch it, yet somehow 100% of them think they're the exception. They see a 3x or 5x multiplier and imagine themselves printing money. The reality is brutal. Most get liquidated before they learn anything useful.
The pattern repeats. Knowledge and patience separate winners from the rest, but nobody wants to hear that.

The cryptocurrency world is like this, profits gained and lost again, really
---
Leverage is just a money-grabbing machine; anyone who touches it will die
---
Still chasing the trending coins, wake up, brother
---
You’re absolutely right, 99% of people think they are that 1%
---
Cycles are just cycles, an unavoidable fate
---
It all sounds right, but when it comes to actual trading, greed still takes over...
---
Knowledge + patience are just words to hear; very few actually practice them
---
Altcoins are always one step behind, this is not a matter of luck
---
I’ve seen too many margin calls due to leverage, lessons learned the hard way
---
The part about profit evaporation hit home; it cycles like this every period

The truth about the crypto world’s shattered dreams... The part about leverage was said so perfectly, and I’ve seen so many people think they are among that 1% of the chosen ones.

The money earned in the bull market is gone in the next cycle, this is truly incredible
---
Heard too many people say they are the 1% trading with leverage, and what happened? All seen on liquidation orders
---
The most heartbreaking thing is the timing of altcoins. By the time you see it, the big players have already eaten it all, always a step behind
---
Knowledge and patience? Not many people who say that actually stick to it, haha
---
The routines in the crypto world are just a few. When you make money, you think you're chosen by the heavens; when you lose, you blame the market
---
I've seen too many people with shining eyes wanting to leverage trade, and half a month later, their accounts are gone
---
Periodic churning of new investors, every time some think they are the exception, classic
---
Altcoins are indeed the easiest to get caught in traps. Information gap is life and death difference
---
Leverage is not meant to make you money; it's a tool to make you lose money faster
---
Nothing wrong with what you said, but very few people actually listen. Everyone wants to be in that 5%

Uh, this is my self-portrait from 2017... Looking back now, those unrealized gains have long turned to dust.
