#数字资产市场洞察 Can the Bitcoin ecosystem really change the game?

I've been pondering this question recently. Looking at the current crypto market, the landscape has actually become relatively stable. From a layered perspective, the L1 layer includes ecosystems like Ethereum's POS public chains, the L2 layer encompasses second-layer scaling solutions like Base, and the third layer—simply put—is Web2 and some launchpad applications. Some projects have already explored a paradigm: solving the capital inflow and outflow issues through this architecture.

But the problem is also evident. While this existing paradigm has addressed capital flow, it hits a critical point: the actual business logic at the L3 layer is hard to truly decentralize. Why? Because L3 needs to interact with L2, and smart contracts ultimately run on L1. This means product logic is confined within the virtual machine sandbox. Confronted with the complex and ever-changing demands of the real world, the space for decentralization is actually quite limited. So, most mature decentralized projects you see are still in the DeFi space.

However, the Bitcoin ecosystem has a unique advantage—since Bitcoin itself is extremely difficult to host virtual machines on, VM can only run on L2. This way, the specific business at L3 can be designed with a fully decentralized logic.

It's somewhat like the difference in how web pages operate. Web pages run inside browsers, so their functionality is limited by the browser's capabilities. But if an application runs on a personal computer, it can leverage all the resources of the entire machine. Once Bitcoin L2 becomes popular, it will fundamentally reshape the internet ecosystem. Because by then, the concept of companies will gradually fade, and product development and operational logic will shift toward decentralized collaboration—everyone cooperating according to a unified on-chain standard, using zero-knowledge proofs to verify deliverables.

Imagine a scenario: you design a game that might have 10 different gameplay modes from 10 small teams, with game items contributed by other independent creators, and finally someone responsible for integration. This mode requires very strong process standardization—which, coincidentally, is exactly what AI excels at. AI handles process normalization, creative workers focus on content creation, L2 verifies each step's output, and Bitcoin layer handles rights confirmation and final settlement.

This will not only disrupt existing decentralized infrastructure but also reshape the entire way the internet operates. But honestly, this should be a long-term evolutionary process, not something that happens overnight.

Oh no, it's the L2 Savior Theory again. I'm a bit mentally exhausted from it. Is Bitcoin L2 really that miraculous? So idealistic, but what about reality? Long-term evolution is just an excuse for "屁股决定脑袋" (the butt decides the head). Bitcoin ecosystem changing the game? Show me the user numbers first before I buy it. This theoretical logic sounds smooth, but the real on-chain situation often proves it wrong. Diminishing the concept of companies? Ha, capital is still capital, just called a DAO with a different name.

It's the same old L3 decentralization talk, I've been listening for over a year, why hasn't it been implemented yet? If Bitcoin L2 is really so attractive, why is it still being beaten by the Ethereum ecosystem? People talk a lot of grand words, but in the end, we still have to wait for AI to save the day? Long-term evolution? Man, in this circle, "long-term" is just 3 months. Don't joke around. This theory sounds good, but the real question is—who actually wants 100% decentralization? Capital wants control, okay. However, the idea behind Bitcoin L2 does have some merit; at least it doesn't throw all the blame on the virtual machine.

Wow, I need to carefully analyze this logical chain. The idea of Bitcoin L2 definitely has some merit.

The nice way to say it is decentralization; the less nice way is just moving the Web2 model onto the blockchain. Changing the technical architecture, but the logic remains the same. It seems this guy is imagining AI + DeFi as too perfect; reality will slap him in the face. Is Bitcoin L2 really popular? I think we need to solve the TPS problem first. It's too early to boast now. Props come from independent creators? Uh... what about royalty distribution and dispute resolution? Can the chain judge Chinese law? Haha. It sounds a bit promising, but if this model really works, I’m afraid we’ll have to wait until the Year of the Monkey.

The logic of Bitcoin L2 is indeed brilliant. Stacking virtual machines on top really locks down the decentralization space, and this is something I see very clearly. To put it plainly, most DeFi projects are just okay; the real breakthroughs still depend on architectural innovation. However, I reserve my opinion on the long-term evolution of this, as it might develop faster than we think. L3 fully decentralized collaboration with AI processing workflows? It sounds like an ideal world, but in reality, how this monster will play out is really hard to say. It depends on how far the actual implementation can go. The idea of downplaying the company concept and imagining this as the endgame is very bold, but the real question is how many people can survive the pains along the way.
