At first, I thought reputation systems were just some vanity numbers, looking impressive but actually useless. It wasn't until I encountered Klout that my view completely changed.

What truly impressed me was this project's dedication to signal quality—not simply chasing numerical growth, but focusing on genuine and effective signals. This is the true value of a reputation system.

In the Web3 ecosystem, this approach is especially important. In an era of information explosion and noise, mechanisms that can accurately identify and amplify valuable voices are inherently scarce. Klout has achieved this, which is why it’s worth paying attention to.

What do you think?

ngl signal quality metrics are mathematically superior to vanity numbers, but you're not actually analyzing the gas overhead of implementing this on-chain... if you look at the mempool data, reputation systems like this become demonstrably sub-optimal at scale

Sounds good, but can Klout really tell who is telling the truth and who is just talking nonsense? I'm still a bit skeptical.

Speaking of quality signals, they are indeed scarce, but can Klout really filter them out? I'm a bit worried.

Damn, someone finally said it. The reputation system has indeed been messed up; it's just a numbers game. Signal quality > number stacking, that's the way out. Klout seems to have really gotten the point. There's too much noise, and mechanisms that can filter out real value are indeed scarce.
