crypto builders when you pitch how your eth L2 is faster than visa but regular users still just want to swipe their card for coffee—not juggle wallet addresses and gas fees

It's too heartbreaking to say, this is the awkwardness of Web3.

Honestly, it's really absurd to still be hyping up how fast L2 is. Users don't care about your speed at all; they just want to swipe a card and buy a cup of coffee.

Basically, it's the complicated operation process that can't be changed, users are just too lazy to bother.

Well said, this is the gap between reality and ideals... Ordinary people really don't want to bother with so much.

Really, this is the reality. No matter how fast the chain is, it's useless if users don't care about those technical details.

nah this is the whole problem right — builders flexing tps numbers nobody cares about while ignoring the actual ux friction. mempool still cooking, gas still brutal, and regular people? they're literally just waiting for the credit card experience but decentralized. that gap's where the real arbitrage is happening tbh.
