I often get dandruff in the winter when the air is dry and I've never had luck finding something that is more natural and gets rid of it without using an abrasive prescription medicine that has harmful ingredients so instead I've just tolerated it.

I did some research and finally think I found a home remedy that worked for me so I'm sharing in case anyone else might find it useful. It's a mix of different things to try and target multiple potential causes so you can add or remove ingredients to your liking.

Here's the recipe:
- 2 tablespoons virgin coconut oil
- 15 drops tea tree oil (5-10% concentration)
- 10 drops pure lavender oil
- Clotrimazole 1% cream (This one could have potential skin irritants as inactive ingredients for some [no harmful additives from what I see] so there is alternative options out there but they might not be as strong.)

Mix it together, apply 2x daily and after a week my dandruff has reduced by probably 90%
