This year has been a blur, staying up many nights, and finally, 2025 is coming to an end.
I picked up my pen to write a year-end summary, wrote and deleted, deleted and rewrote, and finally realized— Some words seem more suitable to keep in my heart. So be it, grateful for the past, turning the page and moving forward.
Good life in 2026.
Looking back, 2025 was truly a magical year for me. I only officially started operating Twitter in March 2025.
It's been about 8 months now.
To be honest, I didn't do very well, and I only put in about 50% of my effort. But I also feel very lucky.
When I first entered the circle, I met @YOYO_uu9, a girl who entered the industry very early. She almost hand-held me from 0 to 1, from basic understanding, trading, to how to play dog coins, never asking for anything in return.
And the very patient @congge918, who taught me little by little—from simple tutorials on earning free tokens to complex new project launches.
So I am very grateful that I didn't step into any big pits or get heavily exploited when I first entered the crypto world. The only time I was "scammed," don’t laugh at me, was because I thought I had too few fans and wanted to buy some real followers, but I was scammed out of 30U by a foreigner, and I didn't even manage to buy followers. Later, I thought about it—no matter how many followers I have, without content, it’s just self-deception.
Looking back now, March 2, 2025, when I took the high-speed train from Henan to Chengdu, feels like it just happened yesterday. Yoyo rented me a luxury apartment in Chengdu, leaving the best room for me to stay. Going out to eat, drink, and play, she never let me spend a penny. She is truly the best Yoyo I have ever met.
Later, my dad needed eye surgery, and the distance was too far from home. My corgi, Little Gold Bean, was fed chicken bones by my dad and died. (So I changed my name from Little Gold Bean to Little Gold Treasure.) Feeling sad and older, thinking about whether to get married in the next couple of years, I decided to go home.
Reflecting on these 8 months, I just happened to catch a relatively simple and stable opportunity for beginners to make money. From the earliest Binance Alpha, to Gate Alpha, and later mouth-lunging, I was at the initial stages.
I believe many friends who just entered the crypto circle have tasted the sweetness of Alpha in 2025. It’s like a “safety net,” allowing people to earn some money and gradually understand and comprehend the crypto industry without anxiety.
After the release of Adventure Island, I also considered multi-account farming of Alpha. But the reality is, most of my friends are not in this circle, so I can't expand.
Later, I even posted a friend circle message recruiting part-time help. Many asked, but once I mentioned “investment needed,” many stopped replying.
I taught a few friends how to make money with Alpha. At first, they thought I was scammed. I spent months teaching them, took a lot of time, originally planning to share some profits, but I didn’t take a single cent. I just thought earning enough for a meal was fine, haha! Once they learned, I didn’t continue to guide them. Now Alpha isn’t profitable anymore, and I don’t know if they still play. Because I haven’t met them in person yet, I haven’t even had a meal with them, haha 😂 I only know their companies have disbanded, and they haven't started working again. Web2, I feel, has always been quite difficult.
Because I was working early on, and if I didn’t do side jobs, I was doing tea business, which I studied engineering management for. The company had a big demand for tea, so I earned some extra tea money. Not doing side jobs, my salary was barely enough.
I am very grateful that I stepped into the crypto world. With Alpha and mouth-lunging, I can still do side jobs and feel free. I don’t know how long they will stay popular, but at least for now, I want to earn the relatively stable money I can grasp. Overall, in 2025, I walked through it with “luck.” As for how to make money in the crypto world in 2026, I haven’t decided yet. Just take it one step at a time, see what happens. First, live well now, take good care of my health, and get a good sleep.
I also wish everyone good harvests in the crypto world. May 2026 be full of good luck, no insomnia, and big earnings.
