Brothers, today I want to talk about something practical. Many people often ask me how to turn things around in the crypto world with limited initial funds. To be honest, the answer is just four words: follow the trend.

It's not about messing around every day, but waiting for those big market moves. Once the big trend appears, enter the position and hold tightly, letting profits run fully. I started with just a few ten thousand yuan and fully understand the awkwardness of small funds. Large capital can easily earn 10%, which is equivalent to a normal person's annual salary, while we need to double our investment to barely keep up. This disparity can only be compensated for through strategic operations.

**What exactly is adding to a position?**

Many misunderstand this, thinking that making money means pouring more in, which is completely wrong. True adding to a position means, in a clear upward trend, using unrealized gains on the books to increase the position size, while continuously moving the stop-loss up, thus controlling each step's risk exposure.

For example, you have 50,000 yuan, open a long position on Bitcoin at $10,000, but only invest 10% of your total funds (5,000 yuan), with 10x leverage. When the price rises to $11,000, you make a profit of 5,000 yuan. At this point, take this profit and add the same size position again, while moving the stop-loss to the cost price. If the market reverses later, you at most give back the unrealized profit, and your principal remains unaffected.

This is fundamentally different from blindly adding to a position without thinking. True adding to a position is only executed when the trend is very clear, and each time it is based on money already earned, not betting on future expectations.

**When should you take action?**

I'm not someone who trades frequently; I only wait for 2 to 3 truly confident opportunities each year. The following situations have repeatedly proven to have a good success rate.

First, a breakout after a long consolidation. For example, Bitcoin has been oscillating between 30,000 and 32,000 for a long time, with volatility hitting new lows, and the entire market looks dull. At this time, once the price effectively breaks through this range, it usually indicates a new trend is brewing. Entering the market at this point often allows you to catch a relatively certain move.

These principles sound simple, but executing them requires patience and discipline. Most importantly, always remember: adding to a position on unrealized gains is not greed, but using the money already earned to seek more possibilities, while locking in risk within a controllable range.

That's right, you just have to wait. You can't make money by messing around every day.

To be honest, I figured out this logic a long time ago, but the key is to endure that dull period.

There's nothing wrong with what you're saying, but most people simply can't stick with it. When they see a rise, they want to go all in.

Everyone's right, but the key is to be able to hold back. You don't have to participate in every market movement.

This logic sounds good, but in reality, not many people can actually endure through those 2-3 opportunities...
