Berrigan Claims Yield Significant Polymetallic Intersections: TomaGold's Drilling Campaign on Chibougamau Independent Properties Delivers Strong Results

Chibougamau Independent Mines Inc. (CBG-TSX-V in Canada, CLL1-Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Berlin and Lang & Schwarz Stock Exchanges in Germany, CMAUF-OTC in the US) has disclosed encouraging exploration outcomes from its optioned Berrigan property in the Chibougamau mining camp. Partner company TomaGold Corporation (LOT-TSXV, TOGOF-OTCPK) completed the initial drilling phase, which intercepted broad zones of zinc, silver and gold mineralization across multiple drill holes on December 22, 2025.

Standout Drilling Results from Recent Exploration Program

The exploration campaign generated several noteworthy intersections demonstrating the mineralization potential of the Berrigan claims. TomaGold’s drilling initiative successfully encountered zinc-equivalent grades extending across substantial vertical intervals, with specific highlights including:

Hole TOM-25-009 Main Zones: The deepest intersection returned 6.68% ZnEq (1.57 g/t AuEq) across 48.05 metres of core, featuring elevated-grade bands within this broader envelope. A prominent sub-interval yielded 39.03% ZnEq (9.15 g/t AuEq) over 2.90 metres, alongside a secondary enriched section grading 21.86% ZnEq (5.12 g/t AuEq) over 5.40 metres. A second mineralized zone in the same hole from 244.50 metres depth returned 5.44% ZnEq (1.27 g/t AuEq spanning 15.20 metres, containing a high-grade intersection of 25.15% ZnEq (5.85 g/t AuEq) over 2.55 metres.

Hole TOM-25-010 Intersection: This bore hole intersected 2.67% ZnEq (0.62 g/t AuEq) across 48.30 metres, with a higher-grade section within the zone assaying 12.87% ZnEq (3.00 g/t AuEq) over 6.25 metres.

Understanding the Technical Data

All reported intervals represent actual core lengths. The company’s ZnEq and AuEq calculations apply established conversion parameters for the Chibougamau Independent Mines exploration portfolio. Geometric analysis suggests true thickness approximates 80–85% of measured core length, contingent on individual borehole deviation angles throughout the mineralized zones.

Exploration Program Progression

The current phase encompasses five additional bore holes targeting lateral expansion and deeper extensions of the identified mineralization envelope. Assay results from this second drilling batch remain pending. Concurrently, a Borehole Electromagnetic Survey is underway to identify prospective target zones within and around the known mineralized intersection areas.

Chibougamau Independent Mines maintains an independent position in the Chibougamau mining camp through its optioned claims, with TomaGold advancing the exploration program on these properties.
