With the debut of its latest Montgomery County outlet, Verano continues solidifying its position as a dominant multi-state operator in the Northeast’s cannabis market. The Company now operates 138 dispensaries across 13 states and maintains cultivation capacity exceeding 1 million square feet.

Strategic Market Expansion in Philadelphia Suburbs

Zen Leaf Norristown, situated at 436 Egypt Road in Montgomery County, marks Verano’s 18th Pennsylvania-affiliated location and the company’s 138th retail site nationwide. Montgomery County, Pennsylvania’s second-largest county with a population exceeding 856,000 residents, presents substantial growth opportunities for the cannabis operator. The new dispensary joins an established network of eight nearby Zen Leaf locations, including operations in Abington, Chester, Clifton Heights, Malvern, Sellersville, West Chester, Wynnewood, and northeast Philadelphia’s Welsh Road facility.

Facility Features and Customer Experience

The dispensary, housed in a converted bank building, incorporates modern retail infrastructure designed to streamline patient access. Notable amenities include a drive-through window optimized for online order fulfillment, expansive in-store browsing kiosks, and multiple point-of-sale stations. Operating hours span Monday-Friday (9 a.m.–8 p.m.), Saturday (10 a.m.–7 p.m.), and Sunday (10 a.m.–6 p.m.) local time.

The facility launched with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, February 16th, and patients can now place advance orders through ZenLeafDispensaries.com for expedited pickup service.

Production and Brand Portfolio

Verano’s Pennsylvania operations include a 62,000 square-foot cultivation and processing facility in Chester, where the company manufactures multiple product lines: Verano Reserve flower and Troches, Essence and Savvy branded extracts, BITS concentrates and vapes, and Avexia RSO cannabis oil and topicals. This vertical integration enables consistent quality control and product innovation across the company’s diverse consumer brand portfolio.

Company Scale and Market Position

Beyond Pennsylvania, Verano’s integrated operations span 13 U.S. states with 14 production facilities supporting its retail network. The company operates dual dispensary banners—Zen Leaf and MÜV—each targeting distinct market segments. This multi-state, vertically integrated model positions Verano among the U.S. cannabis industry’s revenue leaders by historical performance and geographic reach.
