Chipotle Veterans Day Deal: Free Entrée for Military Members This November 11

Chipotle is stepping up to honor the military community with a special veterans day deal that runs for just four hours on Tuesday, November 11. Service members presenting a valid military ID can grab a free entrée when they purchase one in-restaurant between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time. The offer covers all entrée options—bowls, burritos, salads, and tacos.

How the Veterans Day Offer Works

The mechanics are straightforward: show up with your military ID, order an entrée at any U.S. Chipotle location during the designated window, and walk away with a second one on the house. There’s a five-item limit per check, and each free item requires a paid entrée of equal or greater value. The deal is in-restaurant only and doesn’t apply to delivery, mobile, or online orders.

Chris Brandt, Chipotle’s President and Chief Brand Officer, framed the initiative as recognition of military sacrifice: “Their courage and commitment inspire us every day, and we’re honored to serve those who serve our country.” The company sees this veterans day deal as an opportunity for service members to enjoy a meal with loved ones.

Beyond the Discount: Supporting Veteran Causes

Chipotle isn’t stopping at the free-meal promotion. From November 11 through November 16, the chain is featuring the United Service Organizations (USO) in its Round Up for Real Change program, allowing customers to round up purchases to the nearest dollar for veteran support. The USO is the nation’s primary charitable organization serving active-duty members and military families.

The company has maintained a similar partnership with Folds of Honor since 2021, generating over $2.1 million in college scholarships for children and spouses of fallen or disabled service members.

A Workplace Commitment

Chipotle’s dedication to veterans extends beyond promotions. Nearly 800 veterans are currently employed across the company’s operations. In 2024, Chipotle launched its first military veteran workshop designed for hiring managers, focusing on recruitment practices that eliminate bias, improve candidate assessment, and foster workplace inclusion for the military community.

The franchise operates over 3,900 locations across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and the Middle East, with more than 130,000 employees company-wide.
