Bollinger Innovations Launches Unified Brand Strategy With New Trading Identity on Nasdaq

Strategic Rebranding Marks New Chapter for Electric Vehicle Manufacturer

Effective July 28, 2025, the company formerly known as Mullen Automotive Inc. has officially transitioned to Bollinger Innovations, Inc., marking a significant strategic shift in the commercial electric vehicle sector. The corresponding Nasdaq ticker symbol has been updated from MULN to BINI, reflecting the organization’s refreshed market positioning.

According to David Michery, CEO and Chairman, this rebranding consolidates the company’s diverse commercial EV portfolio under a single cohesive identity. “Our transition to Bollinger Innovation is complete and we now have commercial Class 1, 3 and 4 under one unified brand,” Michery stated, underscoring the significance of the brand consolidation.

Commercial EV Lineup Expands Market Reach

Bollinger Innovations operates as a Southern California-headquartered automotive manufacturer with production facilities based in Tunica, Mississippi. The company’s commercial vehicle portfolio encompasses three distinct categories:

  • Class 1 Segment: The ONE, a compact electric cargo van designed for urban and regional delivery operations
  • Class 3 Segment: The THREE, an electric cab chassis truck engineered for medium-duty commercial applications
  • Class 4 Segment: The B4, a heavy-duty electric truck launched in September 2024

Both the ONE and THREE models have secured California Air Resources Board (CARB) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification as of January 2024, positioning them for widespread commercial deployment across U.S. markets.

Dealer Network Strengthens Distribution Infrastructure

The company’s commercial distribution strategy relies on a seven-dealer network spanning critical North American markets. These authorized dealers—Papé Kenworth, Pritchard EV, National Auto Fleet Group, Ziegler Truck Group, Range Truck Group, Eco Auto, and Randy Marion Auto Group—provide coordinated sales and service coverage across the West Coast, Midwest, Pacific Northwest, New England, and Mid-Atlantic regions.

Additionally, Bollinger Motors, the subsidiary based in Oak Park, Michigan, has developed an independent dealer ecosystem comprising over 50 locations nationwide, further expanding the company’s service infrastructure for the B4 electric truck platform.

Corporate Structure and Operational Continuity

The name and stock symbol change carries no implications for the company’s legal structure, operational framework, or existing shareholder arrangements. The CUSIP number remains unchanged, and stockholders require no action to reflect these administrative modifications. In September 2022, Bollinger Motors became the majority-owned subsidiary within Bollinger Innovations, consolidating the company’s electric truck development and commercialization efforts.

Forward-Looking Considerations

The rebranding initiative reflects management’s confidence in the commercial EV market’s growth trajectory. However, the company acknowledges standard business risks including capital availability, supply chain dependencies, competitive pressures, regulatory changes, and market adoption challenges. Additional operational risks encompass talent retention, intellectual property protection, and broader macroeconomic conditions affecting the automotive sector.
