Recently, I came across an interesting data analysis — the landscape of global cryptocurrencies is quietly changing.

By the end of this year, the total crypto assets held by 368 entities worldwide have surpassed $185 billion. At first glance, this number might seem insignificant, but the story behind it is what truly matters: 73% of these assets are held by digital asset treasuries (DAT) primarily managed by publicly listed companies and private enterprises. In other words, institutions and corporations have become the absolute dominant players in this game.

Government holdings are also not negligible, accounting for over 25%. What does this mean? The composition of cryptocurrency holders is undergoing a dramatic transformation — from the early days of individual retail investors' fervent enthusiasm to a strategic allocation by corporations and nations.

**Why are companies starting to hoard cryptocurrencies?**

The concept of digital asset treasuries is essentially: publicly listed companies directly record cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum on their financial statements, treating them as strategic reserve assets. This is not a new trick, but the scale is indeed exploding.

Looking at the specific numbers, among the 73% of corporate holdings, listed companies contribute 59.3%, while private enterprises add 13.7%. Why are companies suddenly paying attention to this? There are two core reasons: signals from macro policies and adjustments in corporate financial strategies.

Especially this March, the implementation of an executive order by the U.S. White House officially elevated Bitcoin to the status of a "national reserve asset." The effect of this document is comparable to a shot of confidence — listed companies, seeing policy backing, naturally feel more assured to increase their holdings. Corporate crypto allocations are no longer seen as reckless gambling but as a kind of "standard operation."

Oh no, institutions are bottom-fishing our market, retail investors are still sleepwalking --- 73% held by corporations? That's why I insist on self-managed keys --- Wait, the government also hoarded 25%? Feels like the game rules are being rewritten --- That order from the White House was really a turning point; afterward, the entire trend changed --- From retail frenzy to institutional calm allocation, this story is a bit heartbreaking --- I just want to know which specific companies make up the 59.3% of listed firms; can't just talk big --- Now I understand what "standard operation" means; a few years ago, if you dared to hoard like this, you'd be criticized to death --- 185 billion looks large, but the real risk is that this power is too concentrated --- Corporate hoarding = confirmation of policy signals, no problem, so should individuals still hold on? --- Basically, it's institutional approval that allows them to openly allocate

Wow, has the story of institutions疯狂囤币 finally broken out of the circle? To be honest, I saw it coming a long time ago. The era of retail investors being harvested is really coming to an end. The question is, is it still possible to get in now, or is this just another prelude to another round of韭菜割? After the White House document was released, the wind definitely shifted, but I still don't trust the government. These people flip their stance faster than flipping a book. Wait, what does 25% government holdings mean? Are all countries stockpiling coins? That's too outrageous. At the end of the day, it's all about money. When companies enter the market, they see long-term value. We retail investors can only follow the trend. Looking at this data, 185 billion is just the beginning. I bet the next round will break 1 trillion.
