Looking back at 2025, BNB Chain's performance has indeed been remarkable. From the richness of ecological applications, the improvement of cross-chain interoperability, to the upgrade of developer toolchains, the entire network has achieved many breakthroughs at the infrastructure level. Hard metrics such as Gas cost optimization and transaction throughput have all improved.
What is even more noteworthy is the continuous growth in the activity of ecological participants—DApp numbers are increasing, new DeFi protocols are emerging, and the NFT community is expanding. This indicates that BNB Chain is not just performing well in transaction volume data, but is also building real application scenarios and a user base.
Looking ahead to 2026, the industry generally expects more innovations to be implemented—whether it’s the improvement of Layer 2 solutions or the enhancement of cross-chain bridge security. BNB Chain’s competitiveness lies in its large existing user base and ongoing investment in technological R&D. The key for the next year is whether these advantages can be transformed into a surge of applications in real scenarios.

To be honest, this summary is quite reasonable, but my main concern is—can those new DApps really survive the next bear market? Theoretically, it should be feasible, but what about practical value... you know. I'll try out these L2 solutions first, but I guess I'll end up locking myself into some contract again.

Speaking of BNB, this wave has indeed stabilized, but what's really interesting is whether the small projects in the ecosystem can truly come to life.
Gas fees have dropped quite a bit, but retaining talent is the key, and L2 still needs to improve.
I'm just worried it's the old trick of having good data but poor user retention... Hopefully, 2026 won't disappoint me.

The increase in ecosystem activity is indeed no exaggeration, but the real test is still to come.
---
Gas fees have dropped again? Then I better come back and see if it's worth the hassle.
---
With so many layer2 solutions, it's hard to say how many will actually survive in the end.
---
An increase in dApp numbers ≠ genuine user engagement; the difference is significant.
---
Is the improvement in cross-chain security just talk or real action? We'll see by 2026.
---
Still the same point: having a large user base is useless if retention isn't achieved; retention is the key.
---
Feels like they're just storytelling again... but this time, the infrastructure moves are indeed fast.
---
DeFi is once again seeing a surge of protocols, most likely just a bunch of vaporware projects.
---
It's really just supported by BSC's trading volume; don't overestimate it.
---
If no killer app emerges in the next year, it will all be pointless.

ngl if you look at the data, most of those "new defi protocols" are just liquidity farming schemes waiting to collapse... sustainable returns tho? actually curious where they're hiding those

BNB Chain has indeed stabilized this time, but the real test is still ahead.
If Layer 2 solutions can't keep up, then no matter how many dApps there are, it's all in vain.
To put it nicely, we'll have to see if they can deliver by 2026.
