Have you ever wondered why a certain topic can stay in the public discourse for so long? This actually reflects the depth of the issue itself — it’s not some sudden event.

This phenomenon has existed for a long time, only with different names. From "working poor"(working poor), to "financially fragile households"(financially fragile households), and then to "ALICE"(asset-limited, income-constrained, employed), the concept has evolved, but the essence remains the same. This is not just a problem in a single country but a global economic stratification phenomenon. From another perspective, we have been using new terms to describe the same old problem — the financial struggles of the middle-income group.

Basically, it's just a change of name without changing the substance; we've been giving the same problem a new name all along.

Basically, it's just a change of name without changing the substance. Giving poverty a new name and thinking the problem is solved?

Basically, it's just a change of superficial appearance without changing the substance, giving the poor a new disguise.

Basically, it's just a rebranding without changing the substance; just a new name and pretending it's a new discovery.

Basically, it's the same old story; the rich are still rich, and the poor are still poor.

nah this is just repackaging the same systemic issue over and over. working poor, financially fragile, ALICE—it's all just linguistic copium imo. the underlying transaction patterns never changed, we just got better at naming the problem without fixing it tbh. classic move.

Basically, just changing the name is considered solved? Middle class people are still so difficult, new vocabulary can't change the account balance.
