On the eve of the 2026 bull market, should ETH continue to increase its position?

Abstract generation in progress

【BiTu】An investor recently shared his views on ETH, which are quite interesting. He agrees with the market analysis regarding short squeeze logic. Since he is optimistic about a major bull market in 2026, he plans to continue increasing his ETH holdings (including moderate leveraged borrowing), and not pay too much attention to short-term fluctuations of a few hundred dollars.

Looking back to the first half of last year, ETH repeatedly oscillated between $1000 and $2000. He said that if he applied the same strategy and mindset this year, the results would actually be similar—mainly, don’t be scared by short-term market movements. Essentially, this is a trend-following investment approach; success or failure ultimately depends on whether your understanding of the future market can be realized.

From this perspective, rather than obsessing over candlestick charts every day, it’s better to think clearly about your judgment of the bull market cycle. If you truly believe that a big move will happen in 2026, then the current pullback is actually an opportunity. Of course, using leverage to increase positions also carries risks that you should be aware of.

Basically, it's betting on 2026. I'm a bit hesitant about this leverage.

Borrowing to increase positions? Really daring, you need to be mentally prepared.

Borrowing to increase positions... it depends on how strong your heart is; not everyone can handle it. --- I believe in the 2026 bull market, but betting with leverage is still too hardcore. I choose to be more conservative. --- It's easy to say, but among ten people who claim they can ignore K-line charts, not one actually can. Don't deceive yourself. --- I've heard the logic of short squeeze so many times, but in the end, it still depends on your risk tolerance. Don't follow the crowd blindly. --- You can keep adding to your position, but using leverage? I think you're playing Russian roulette with your own funds. --- The key question is, are you really confident in the 2026 bull market? Or are you just gambling? --- I'm worried that people who are scared by short-term market fluctuations will also be scared of liquidation caused by leverage. Haha. --- If ETH's recent move is truly just a correction, then adding to your spot holdings is enough. Why take the risk of leverage? --- Trend investing sounds sexy, but executing it tests your psychological resilience and risk management skills. --- I'm optimistic now, but I wouldn't go so far as to borrow money and go all-in. Maintaining rational greed is the winning strategy.
