Many people see that I’m doing pretty well in trading now and think I’m the chosen one, able to hit the right rhythm effortlessly.

Honestly, I used to be like that—chasing news all over the internet, believing every rumor, thinking every outrageous claim was true, until my account kept shrinking day by day, to the point of despair.

What truly helped me turn things around isn’t some secret trick, but these four words: Clumsy Effort. Starting from 5000, to reach this current number, I’ve only followed a few "dead rules":

**1. Do less, live more comfortably**

While others make ten or more trades in a night, I rarely make more than two in a day. People who trade frequently are often torn apart by their own emotions. Less trading means clearer eyes.

**2. Only stick to mainstream currencies, stay away from those weird tokens**

I’m a die-hard fan of $BTC, $ETH—things with strong certainty. I don’t chase $MEME or those wild, volatile "dog coins."

I don’t need daily adrenaline rushes; I want to survive longer.

**3. Act like a robot**

Pre-set entry points, stop-loss, take-profit—all planned in advance. Never move unless the time is right. When the moment comes, act immediately. No room for emotions.

The colder the trading, the less emotional damage.

**4. Always leave a margin, don’t bet everything**

I never use more than about 1/3 of my position at once, never go all-in.

It’s not cowardice, but understanding—if you want to survive long in this market, you need chips to turn the game around.

**5. Once stop-loss or take-profit is set, forget about it**

Strictly follow the rules. Don’t change your mind because of temporary gains or losses.

Set your orders and walk away. Don’t keep staring.

**Why does this "clumsy method" make money?**

Smart people often try to predict the market, chase bottoms or tops, but end up repeatedly beaten by market psychology and volatility.

The market’s real淘汰 isn’t for those lacking skills, but for those itchy, restless, and undisciplined traders.

My approach is very slow. Starting from 5000, I’ve experienced repeated fluctuations, even a retracement to over 10,000 at one point. It wasn’t easy emotionally.

But because I stick to not adding more, not changing plans impulsively, and not acting on impulse, over the years my account has gradually grown.

But you need these conditions: withstand that itch when others see rapid gains, keep a steady mind amid all the shouting and signals, and stick to your boring rules.
