Remember the story when you first entered this circle — an old timer traded ten thousand Bitcoins for two pizzas. Now, thinking about it, if he had held onto those coins until now, just one would be enough to buy a luxury car. But history never copies itself; it just dresses up in new clothes, throwing the same opportunities and traps to the next generation.

Having been in this industry for eight years, my deepest insight is this: nine out of ten people haven't missed opportunities; they just have "chasing highs and selling lows" ingrained in their minds. During a bull market, they greedily want more, willing to invest all their assets; when a bear market hits, they tremble in fear, unable to hold their coins. The final result is well known — buying at high prices and selling at lows, cycle after cycle.

**Bottom-fishing is a false concept; certainty is the real key**

Many people see a coin drop 60%, 70% from its high and start shouting, "Here's the bottom-fishing opportunity." But hold on — the bottom you see might just be the top of a basement, and beneath that basement lies hell. Small coins without real use cases are especially prone to this — halving once, halving again, this is a common script. Last year, I was watching about twenty small coins; now only three or four are still actively traded, the rest are basically hopeless.

But if you only hide in fear and do nothing, you might miss real opportunities. The appeal of this industry isn't about "buying at the absolute lowest point," which is a myth, but about "buying when certainty appears." What is certainty? The cyclical patterns around Bitcoin halving, the real data showing institutional on-chain accumulation, or the resilient performance of top platform tokens during bear markets. The credibility of these signals far surpasses simply watching the price drop.

**Doubling your returns depends on methodology, not a Hail Mary**

Just waiting with spot holdings for the price to double involves careful calculation of time and opportunity costs. Truly strategic players generally...

That's so true. Chasing gains and panic selling is really the biggest curse in this circle. Most people around me have fallen for it.

I've heard the story of Pizza Guy countless times, but among the ten who can truly stick to it, only one makes it. Honestly, it's all about mindset. Most people don't lack opportunities; it's just that their minds are filled with outdated ideas like chasing highs and selling lows.

I'm tired of the Pizza Guy part. The key is, who can hold for eight years now? Those whose mentality has collapsed have already cut their losses and sold out.

I've heard the Pizza Guy story too many times, but the key is that after hearing it, no one actually took action. Honestly, it's a mindset issue; most people just can't hold on, including myself. Last year, when the price dropped from 50,000 to 30,000, I didn't dare to add to my position. Looking back now, I still feel quite regretful.

That's right, it's a mindset issue. Most of the people around me who have made it are not lucky; they've just persevered.

That's true, but those who can truly do it are extremely rare; most are still controlled by their emotions.
