It’s actually saying — we are at a critical turning point. Looking back from 2024 now, every price breakout has been accompanied by structural changes: institutional funds entering, ETF approvals, improved policy environments. The cumulative effect of these factors is gradually rewriting the rules of Bitcoin’s cycle.

Tom Lee’s assertion reminds me of my misjudgment at the end of 2015. Back then, some also said the top was in, but 2016 turned out to be the most crucial accumulation period of that cycle. The logic this time also seems to be replaying — not topping out, but building a base on a new platform.

The most interesting is Arthur Hayes’ view on the yen devaluation and Bitcoin correlation. It reminds me that Bitcoin’s price has never been isolated; it is a barometer of the global monetary policy game. When central banks around the world are playing the game of negative real interest rates, Bitcoin’s appeal as a scarce asset will be re-priced. 2026 could indeed be a key year, but the real surge is likely to fully manifest only in 2027.

After all these years, I’ve learned one thing: don’t overreact to short-term fluctuations, but also don’t ignore long-term structural changes.
