Pull back, the recent performance of Ethereum over the past few years, compared to the rally from early 2021 to early 2022, hasn't been as big as expected. Frankly, these four years are more like building a bottom and repeatedly shaking out weak hands. The real breakout? I don't think it's here yet. But the upcoming period will definitely be tough.

Although the 2026 monthly chart hasn't fully played out yet, from a technical perspective, I tend to believe that in the short term, it will bottom out around 2500. During this time, market sentiment will be particularly cold, and black swan events could strike at any moment, with a significant risk of extreme dips. Grid trading and contract traders must manage their risk exposure carefully.

Here's an interesting point—although I anticipate some downward pressure in the near term, I won't choose to sell, let alone short. Why? Cost considerations. It's not that missing out on a rally would be more regretful, but that once you miss the move, you miss the entire bull cycle. Instead of making mistakes at the bottom, it's better to hold according to the plan and wait for the market's true reversal.
