PINGPONG recently launched a pretty good thing—a dedicated aggregation platform for DePIN projects. It sounds quite attractive, but upon closer thought, the DePIN track is ultimately just that.
Do you know why they pump the market? Simply put, it's about rushing to deliver while the concept is still hot. From the boom to the lull, DePIN hasn't really demonstrated any genuine application value. The entire ecosystem may seem prosperous, but in reality, it still revolves around the same old tricks—hype, fundraising, and cashing out. The PINGPONG aggregator can't change this big logic.
This doesn't mean that project teams necessarily have problems, but the entire track itself is in an awkward position. When the hype fades, what remains is often a mess. If you're talking about real technological breakthroughs and practical applications, we’ll have to wait and see.

To be honest, DePIN should have died out long ago. PINGPONG's move is just a bottom-fishing tactic.
It's just about quickly securing a position; what can actually be implemented?
Let's see if anyone is really using it, don't just talk about the story.

Just another concept project. When DePIN is hot, everyone wants a share.
Wait, has the aggregation platform changed anything? No.
It's just consolidating bad projects to sell together.

It's the same old story. The fate of DePIN was doomed from the start; once the hype fades, the true nature is revealed.

Another aggregation platform, feels like there's nothing new
Uh... DePIN has long been outdated, just waiting for a breeze to blow it away
PINGPONG, no matter how awesome, can't change the fate of this track
Once the hype passes, it's all just newbie investors, I've seen through it
Honestly, anyone who believes it is naive; without practical applications, it's just air
Just want to make a quick profit while the hype is still there, this trick is too old
DePIN? Let's talk about it when people wake up

It's the same old trick again. Once the DePIN concept is hyped up, it disappears, and aggregation platforms can't save it.

Here we go again. I've heard this spiel a hundred times. What can the DePIN aggregator really change? Isn't it just a rebrand to cut again?
