Every time you jump between a new blockchain app or switch chains, you're trapped in the same tedious cycle. Fill out forms. Submit data again. Wait. Repeat. It drains your time and kills the UX experience.
Then comes the data layer issue. Centralized storage meant everything lived in one place—a single point of failure. Vulnerable. Risky. Most users don't realize how exposed their information actually is across different platforms and ecosystems.
This broken system isn't just inconvenient. It's a fundamental flaw holding back Web3 adoption. We need portable, self-sovereign identity solutions that work seamlessly across chains. Not patch fixes. Real infrastructure change.
The fix exists. We just need to push it forward.

Laughing and then crying, every time I switch chains I have to fill out the form again. Isn't this the Web3 version of "Please re-enter your password"?
---
Data is scattered everywhere, and you still expect autonomy? It's like giving the keys to all your neighbors.
---
The fragmentation of Web3 identity is comparable to my wallet balance—disjointed and broken.
---
Fill out forms, duplicate data, wait—these are the three routines of the retail investors.
---
What about decentralization? Turns out, identity information is even more centralized than in traditional systems—amazing.
---
Cross-chain issues are so bad they cause crashes; it's better to go back to Web2 for simplicity.
---
Real autonomy solutions do exist, but no one uses them—that's very Web3, right?
---
Infrastructure needs to be changed, but after changing it, you have to learn new things again—it's an endless cycle of tinkering.

Switching between chains is so annoying, having to fill out the form every time is really a hassle.

This fragmented identity is really annoying. Every time I switch chains, I have to fill out the form again. So frustrating.

tbh the math on this doesn't check out as cleanly as they're implying. yeah fragmentation sucks but the risk-adjusted cost of cross-chain identity infrastructure is... actually way higher than most people calculate. the correlation between adoption barriers and identity fragmentation is statistically significant, sure, but there's like a 60% probability we're solving the wrong problem first.

This fragmented identity is really the most annoying part of Web3. Every time you switch chains, you have to fill out the form again. Who can stand that?

Filling out the form ten times a day, it's really crazy. This is the current Web3 experience...

Every time I switch chains, I have to fill out the form again. It's really annoying. That's why ordinary people still don't use Web3.
The fragmented identity problem is real.
