Losing money in the crypto world isn't the worst part; the worst part is dying without a clear explanation. Have you ever thought that your liquidation might just be because the price data was delayed by 3 seconds? The SSR equipment you can never seem to get might just be because the random number generation was "manipulated"?

Ultimately, the problem lies here: we trust the blockchain, yet it operates on a bunch of "lying" data sources.

Today, I want to talk about the APRO project, which, to some extent, is a group of tech geeks tortured by dirty data for years, trying to become the "garbage collector" of data in the crypto world.

**The story begins with the most basic pain points**

Several co-founders come from AI, data engineering, and early DeFi backgrounds. They’ve been burned many times by junk data when developing projects: delayed market push notifications, crashing data sources, seemingly predictable random numbers... They gradually realized that no matter how sophisticated your smart contracts are, if the input data itself is flawed, the final output can only be garbage. Instead of dreaming about grand scenarios, it’s better to honestly solve the first problem: how to provide the blockchain with "clean, real-time, trustworthy" data?

In the early stages, resources were tight, and the project had little visibility. The team simply focused on honing their technology.

**Realistic architecture design**

On-chain everything? Too expensive and slow, not practical at all. Fully off-chain? Then what’s the difference from building a centralized database? APRO’s approach is very pragmatic — let off-chain AI act as a "scout," using algorithms to efficiently and quickly scan massive amounts of data, identify abnormal fluctuations; then, a verification mechanism on the chain acts as a "judge" to finally confirm data validity. This hybrid solution strikes a balance between cost and speed.

Data was liquidated 3 seconds late, this is really incredible, I feel like I've been constantly being cut.

Losing liquidation just 3 seconds late, it's incredible. That's why I'm still losing money.

Data was cleared 3 seconds late, this damn... really incredible, it happens like this every time

Data is liquidated 3 seconds late, this is damn ridiculous. Honestly, if these kinds of things didn't happen every day in the crypto world, who would believe it? APRO's approach is indeed good, blending solutions to find a balance, much more reliable than those who boast. But I still want to ask, could off-chain AI also have the possibility of "lying"? I'm skeptical, but at least they are working seriously.

Missed by 3 seconds and got liquidated directly? Is this true? I'm a bit scared. Manipulation of random numbers, I've heard about how many people have been scammed. Data sources are indeed the cancer of the crypto world, so annoying. APRO's idea is okay, but whether it can really be implemented is another matter. Off-chain AI + on-chain verification sounds good, but how to thoroughly solve the trust issue? To put it simply, it's still about looking at the code and data. Anyone can say empty words. I deeply understand the feeling of being tormented by garbage data. Now I don't trust much of what I see. I'm interested in this architecture design. How can I participate in testing?

Died in an unclear and unjust way—that phrase hits too close to home. That's exactly how I died.

Death is the most heartbreaking when it's unclear, especially when looking at candlestick charts --- Heard too many times that data sources lie, just close your eyes and go all in --- Off-chain AI + on-chain verification sounds pretty reliable... but who should we trust then --- I've been burned by dirty data too many times, now I always put a question mark before everything I see --- Smart contracts are clever but useless, the data originally entered is just crap --- APRO's architecture idea is pretty good, the key is execution, whether tech geeks are reliable or not depends on what happens next --- 3-second delay clears your positions, this is truly amazing, that's how the crypto world plays

Losing liquidation just 3 seconds late on data, I understand this very well😅 Really, instead of playing with high leverage, it's better to first clean up the data sources. The APRO approach is quite practical, combining off-chain and on-chain, this wave is not just empty promises. But to be honest, how many projects ultimately die because of poor execution...
