They then privately transferred digital assets worth approximately $1 million.

The court sentenced the defendant to two months in prison, imposed a fine equivalent to the value of the stolen assets at the time of the incident, and also ordered deportation. In subsequent civil litigation, the court ordered the defendant to compensate the victim with 4.3 million AED (approximately $1.17 million).
