AI is reshaping how films get made. A new AI-powered relight technology can now simulate professional film studio setups, allowing creators to adjust light source direction, color temperature, exposure levels, and diffusion characteristics after shooting—essentially giving filmmakers a digital post-production studio. What once required expensive equipment and lengthy on-set adjustments can now be handled through intelligent algorithms. This tech shift shows how AI automation is fundamentally changing creative workflows across industries, from production efficiency to cost reduction. The capability to manipulate lighting parameters digitally opens up possibilities previously constrained by traditional cinematography limitations.

Wow, with AI handling post-production lighting adjustments, do photographers need to be laid off?

The later addition of lighting is really amazing... Saving costs is one thing, but I'm worried that future aesthetics will be completely hijacked by algorithms.

ngl I'm really about to lose my job now. How can professional photographers survive... Cheap is cheap, but it feels like something's missing.

Honestly, this technology sounds awesome, but how many creators can really make good use of it...
AI fill lighting sounds good, but I'm worried that in the end, it will just lead to a flood of cheap-looking movies.
Post-production lighting adjustment can indeed save costs, but the soul still has to be in the scene; relying solely on algorithms feels a bit empty.

Hmm... Is the post-production lighting adjustment becoming so competitive? Are photographers still in demand?
