#以太坊大户持仓变化 Do small-cap coins really have a chance to turn around? I see stories of getting rich online, but when it comes to myself, it's a different story. Do any veterans want to share some tips? $BNB and $ETH are still relatively safe, but I feel like I missed the window for new coin explosions. Should I stick with major coins for steady gains, or should I buy the dip in promising new projects? Sincerely seeking advice from experienced friends.

Honestly, I've heard too many stories of overnight wealth, but very few actually make money.

Ha, the new coin explosion window? That thing is like a flowering season; if you miss it, you really miss it. Chasing it hard can easily lead to pitfalls. My experience is to stick with mainstream coins while allocating 10% to explore new opportunities. Don't go all in on those small coins with stories.

Small coins turning around? Sounds good, but most people are just leeks.
---
Mainstream coins are stable, but look at those stories of overnight riches—aren't they all gambling?
---
Missing the window is normal; anyway, the next window is also a gamble.
---
Holding BNB and ETH, just play with new coins, not worried if you lose.
---
Experienced? I think there's no secret, just people with good luck telling stories.
---
It's fun to catch the bottom of new projects, but in reality, most are bagholders, take it easy.
---
Instead of asking if there's a chance, ask yourself how much you can lose.

I think you asked the wrong person about this. Nine out of ten of those get-rich stories online are post-hoc rationalizations.

actually, the median alt coin has like a 94% probability of going to zero... statistically speaking, those "life-changing" stories are survivorship bias on steroids. you're basically asking whether to gamble or not gamble, which is fundamentally the wrong question given the historical data

Listen, buddy, 99% of online get-rich-quick stories are survivor bias; those who lose money simply can't speak out.

Don't listen to those get-rich-quick stories; they're just survivor bias.

To be honest, hearing those get-rich stories has to be taken with a grain of salt; 99% are survivor bias.

All those get-rich-quick stories online are survivor bias; those who actually lost money have long stopped speaking out. My advice is not to go all-in on new coins. Small positions are best for trial and error, and the main holdings should still be in mainstream assets.
