18 YEARS OF ACCUMULATION AND SILENT LINGERING UNTIL 10/10/2025: WHEN FUTURES ARE NO LONGER AN INVESTMENT

I’m not writing these lines to seek sympathy, but to leave a “scar” as a warning for those walking the same path I just fell down. A single fall erases 18 years of hard work.

1. From the 2020 retirement plan to the “addiction” of 2025 I started working in 2007. After 13 years of persistent accumulation, by 2020, I was confident I had enough financial foundation to retire. But just then, the Crypto wave hit. * 2021: Big wins, feeling like I was a “god” catching the trend. * 2022: The market slapped me hard, losing all profits and part of my capital. * 2023 - 2025: The Futures addiction began. I no longer wanted to earn money from real work, I wanted to “recover” and “fast.”
2. Harsh truth: The market says nothing On 10/10/2025, there was no big explosion, no global shocking news at that moment. It just quietly… took all my accounts. The most painful feeling is not seeing the red candles, but the silence. The market took your money indifferently as if you never existed. 18 years of sweat and tears from 2007 vanished in just a few clicks with high leverage.
3. Why are Futures a death-addict “drug”? From the perspective of someone who just went broke, I realize Futures destroys us through 3 stages: * “Euphoria” stage: Winning trades x5, x10 make you belittle the value of real labor. * “Numbness” stage: You start depositing more money to “hold” the losses. At this point, money is just emotionless numbers on the screen, until they disappear. * “Bankruptcy” stage: This is when the addiction forces you to stop because you have nothing left to burn. The awakening comes too late when the round zero appears.
4. A warning to those still staying * Don’t let “Retirement” be just a number on the screen: I once touched freedom in 2020, but I traded it for a game with nearly impossible odds of losing if you can’t control greed. * Futures is not for the masses: If you don’t have iron discipline and an extremely strict risk management system, you are just “liquidity” for the house. * True value is out there: Don’t let candlestick charts steal your time away from family, health, and the years of youth you’ve accumulated. It took me 18 years to build, and one day to destroy everything. Don’t let your “10/10” day happen.
