Anyone banking on partnerships with politicians to push crypto legislation forward as some path to freedom? That credibility is toast. The premise itself doesn't hold up—trading decentralization ideals for political favor tends to backfire, not liberate. The crypto space has always been about cutting out intermediaries, yet somehow we keep bringing them back to the negotiating table.

Always thinking about relying on politicians to push legislation? You might as well buy a lottery ticket, at least the odds are more transparent. Back then, I had a project team member who was involved in the Capitol Hill scene, and as a result, I got caught up for almost two years. Now I don't even dare to mention that part when telling stories to my three kids.
