This Wednesday's economic data is quite dense and will have a significant impact on market trends. In the morning, start with the State Council Information Office's press conference (10:00), and China's December trade account data is also on the watch list.
The main event is in U.S. time. The release at 21:30 of the US November retail sales monthly rate, PPI annual rate, and PPI monthly rate, along with Q3 current account data, are indicators that can often shake the market. Also, pay attention to the US October business inventories monthly rate (23:00) and December existing home sales annualized, as these are key factors influencing the dollar's movement.
In terms of energy, at 23:30, the EIA crude oil inventory data will be released, including crude oil inventories, Cushing crude oil inventories, and strategic petroleum reserve inventories, which have a linked effect on commodities.
The Federal Reserve news is even more lively: Powell's speech at 22:50, Milan's speech in Athens at 23:00, Kashkari's speech at 01:00 the next day, and Williams' speech at 03:10 the next day, with multiple decision-makers speaking intensively. The most important is the Beige Book at 03:00 the next day, which often sets the tone for subsequent policies.
Additionally, don't forget the Supreme Court's ruling on the legality of Trump's tariffs, which could be a black swan event. OPEC's monthly oil report is also on the pending list.
Crypto traders, the volatility this Wednesday could be quite high. Keep an eye on these key times to help grasp the market rhythm.

Damn, with such dense data, from 11 PM to 3 AM, I guess I'll have to stay up all night.

ngl this calendar is basically a minefield... technically speaking, the data points here are solid but the real question is whether anyone's actually *validating* their risk parameters before these drops. beige book at 03:00 is statistically the most impactful but everyone's sleeping on the court ruling tbh. insufficient preparation from most traders imo.

Wednesday's wave of data explosion took off directly, and the Beige Book is the most critical. If you're not careful, you'll end up going against the trend with your trading.
