#空投活动与分配 I just saw the news about Lighter cracking down on witch accounts, and I’m a bit stunned😅

So there are actually so many tricks involved in airdrop distribution? They use data science to identify witch accounts, then redistribute those points to genuine traders. What does this mean... Does it mean those who rely on fake transactions or multiple accounts to cheat the airdrop will be cleared out?

The most reassuring part is that they have set up an appeal mechanism! If the algorithm makes a mistake, you can fill out a form to appeal, which feels quite fair. Although the number of appeals is currently lower than expected, it also shows that people still trust the identification results, right?

There’s also an interesting detail — large tokens transferred to trading platforms are unrelated to the airdrop; they are just to safeguard the shares of investors and the team. Moreover, they will no longer adopt a dual-token/shareholding structure in the future; all value will be accumulated into the tokens.

For a newcomer like me, this crackdown is actually a good thing. It at least proves that this project takes fairness seriously and isn’t just distributing airdrops casually. Those trying to cheat the system will be filtered out, and genuine traders will actually gain more value.

Has anyone been marked as a witch account? Feel like trying to appeal and see what happens!
