Recently, good news has been coming from the Ethereum ecosystem again. According to on-chain data, the average daily increase of newly created ETH wallets over the past week reached 327,100 — this is not a small number. Even more interestingly, last Sunday directly broke the previous record, with 393,600 new wallets created in a single day, setting a new all-time high.

Why is this happening? It’s mainly due to a combination of several factors. On one hand, retail investors’ enthusiasm for Ethereum has clearly increased, and more and more people are starting to enter the market; on the other hand, the activity levels in DeFi and NFT sectors are also heating up, naturally leading to more users needing new wallets.

Such data doesn’t appear out of nowhere. It reflects the genuine growth momentum of the Ethereum network. For those who are interested in on-chain ecosystem development and want to understand the network adoption curve, this pattern is indeed worth paying attention to — it may indicate that even more changes are coming.

Hey, wait a minute. Are all these new wallets really being used by real people? Or are some projects just doing fake activity again?

Here comes more data about cutting leeks; I'm just checking how much of the funds are from real users.

Whoa, 393k new wallets in a single day. How many people are trying to buy the dip? --- Retail investors are starting to get restless again. DeFi is indeed heating up. --- The number of new wallets has surged, but how many of them are actually retained? --- Oh my God, if these numbers are real, there should be big moves coming up. --- It feels like just another prelude to a new round of profit-taking, honestly. --- Interesting, let's see if these new users can stick around this time. --- A new all-time high 😅. Will this be another false high this time? --- This is true network growth, no hype, no blackening. --- Wallets are surging, but gas fees are also rising. Newcomers are probably being discouraged too. --- DeFi is genuinely heating up. My friends have started staking.

393,600 new wallets? That's a pretty crazy number, but it doesn't seem that exaggerated. Retail investors get FOMO like this.

nah, new wallets spike doesn't mean much when half the addresses are prob just dust farming or governance attack prep... the real question is whether eth's consensus layer can even *handle* what's coming lol

393,600 new wallets created in a day? That number is a bit outrageous. We need to check if robot accounts are causing the issue.

Wallet growth is indeed on an upward trend, but we need to see how active these new addresses really are, and exclude fake accounts. From the perspective of difficulty adjustment cycles, this wave of influx might be just a temporary phase, so don't be overly optimistic. The single-day record of 393,600 is impressive, but the key metric to watch is the subsequent retention rate. A surge in new wallets doesn't necessarily mean genuine users; there are many cases of arbitrage and volume manipulation. Good-looking data ≠ a healthy ecosystem. From an ROI perspective, the current returns on participating in DeFi are indeed improving, and behind this data, it could be active players pursuing high yields. It looks lively, but what I care more about are the trading volume and holding periods of these new addresses.
