#美国消费者物价指数发布在即 Ethereum once again signals strong momentum. In this round of market movement, ETH broke through the $3350 level, with a 24-hour increase of 8.05%, reaching a high of $3383.63. This is not only a price breakthrough but also a shift in market sentiment — bears were completely crushed at this moment.
The liquidation data is quite spectacular: the total liquidation across the network in 24 hours reached $209 million, with $151 million in short positions liquidated, directly crushing long positions worth $79.9 million. Looking into the details, ETH’s short liquidation amounted to $29.84 million, while longs only liquidated $6.22 million. The largest single liquidation was Aster-ETH’s $2.95 million short position, with nearly 90,000 traders collectively under pressure in a short period.
The macro cooling trend is worth noting. The Federal Reserve’s rate cut expectations are being re-priced — the probability of a rate cut in January is only 2.8%, almost no chance. After the latest CPI data was released, core CPI YoY was 2.6%, in line with expectations, and MoM remained flat. Overall CPI YoY was 2.7%, slightly above expectations, but CME funding rates show a 97.2% probability of maintaining interest rates in January, indicating a cautious and steady short-term policy stance.
Interestingly, Ethereum’s position in the RWA (Real-World Asset) sector is becoming more solid. Among Ondo Finance’s on-chain physical assets, 77% of TVL is locked in ETH, which accounts for nearly 11.6% of the entire Ethereum RWA ecosystem. As the settlement layer engine, its fundamentals are undeniably strong.
Although the market is experiencing some volatility, the opportunities after the recent rally are already emerging. The key is to stay in sync with the rhythm and not be scared out by short-term fluctuations. $ETH $BTC $SOL

Over 90,000 short positions were liquidated simultaneously, which is unbelievable. By the way, regarding RWA, ETH staking volume is so strong, but it seems like not many people are talking about it.

The shorts were crushed to pieces, haha. I really didn't expect ETH to be this fierce. That 2.95 million order liquidated, it hurts just to watch.
