#策略性加码BTC 🔥XRP drops 11% and should I run? Wait a moment, the data might be telling a different story

The first half of January has just passed, and the crypto market is beginning to truly test people's resolve. At the beginning of the year, XRP was indeed gaining some momentum, even surpassing ETH at one point, but it got stuck at the $2.50 level. Over a week, it fell 11%, making it the worst performer among large-cap coins.

Is this another wave of panic selling? But on-chain data provides a different answer.

200 million XRP are moving back and forth between wallets, which doesn't look like panic selling—more like whales quietly adjusting their positions to avoid short-term volatility. Meanwhile, $4.9 million has flowed into ETFs, but $22 million has exited exchanges. What does this indicate? Large investors are accumulating, while retail investors are retreating. Supply is gradually tightening.

This is the "big divergence" phenomenon that veteran traders often mention: on one side, retail investors are selling, and on the other, smart money is buying. If the $2.10 support level is broken, XRP is likely to fall into a classic bear trap—turning this 11% decline into a stepping stone for the next rally.

Retail investors are all fleeing, while big players are quietly accumulating. That's why you can't just look at the price decline.

Wait a minute, are the big players quietly accumulating while we're still selling? This rhythm doesn't feel right.

Wait, are the big players eating our panic sell-offs? This pace is a bit intense.

Retail investors run away, big players quietly accumulate, I am very familiar with this rhythm. The real story is when it breaks on 2.10.
