Getting into this circle, at the end of the day, is all about making money. The new traders are here to make profits, the alpha traders are here to make money, and even those who chase after gains are doing it to make money. There's nothing to hide or conceal about it, let alone any shame. The gameplay in this circle is not about high or low status, nor is there any logic of looking down on others. The underlying logic of all cryptocurrencies is actually interconnected — those who believe first sell to those who believe later. You always envy others for how low their cost basis is or how high their multiples are, but often overlook the agony they endure during their long holding periods: watching others' coins skyrocket while your own holdings remain stagnant. That kind of anxiety and struggle is hard for outsiders to truly understand. If all you see is others' glamour, even after spending years in this circle, you'll only end up following the trend and saying "awesome," without truly learning anything.

For me, the biggest change this circle has brought is never about the fluctuations in account balances, but about the cultivation of mindset and the reshaping of principles for dealing with people: I treat others sincerely if they treat me sincerely. Even if this person has a bad reputation outside, during the time I spend with them, they are kind and reliable. After all, this world is half cruel and half gentle.
